02/11 Gunn Blood Drive

Where: Gunn Library

When: Friday, February 11, 8 am - 2 pm

What: The Stanford Blood Center is coming to Gunn for its semi-annual blood drive! Help make this drive a success by either volunteering or donating--you could really save a life! Donors must be over 16 years old and at least 110 pounds. Every 2 seconds, someone in the world needs a blood transfusion, so please donate!


 

02/12 Region 17 Conclave!

Where: AMD Center, 991 Steward Dr. Sunnyvale, CA

When: Saturday, February 12, 10 am - 2 pm

What: Region 17, which encompasses a large portion of northern California, gathers annually at Conclave to elect each division's new lieutenant governor for the coming year. We will be listening to candidates' speechs and voting, and there will also be some guest speakers and presentations on DCON. Business formalwear required.

02/13 Stanford Dance Marathon Clean-up

Where: Arrillaga Alumni Center, Stanford University

When: Sunday, February 13, 1 pm - 3 pm

What: The Stanford Dance Marathon is an annual fundraiser for HIV/AIDS awareness, and they need our help! Help end this event on a good note by working with Stanford students to clean up the facilities after a long 24 hours of dancing.

 


 

02/19 Collective Roots Community Workday

Where: East Palo Alto Charter School, 1286 Runnymede St., East Palo Alto

When: Saturday, February 19, 9 am - 12 pm

What: Work with the Collective Roots Organization on a variety of gardening projects to beautify the school campus. Tools, gloves, and snacks will be provided. Wear working clothes.
*Will be canceled if it rains

 

02/26 Palo Alto Village Harvest

Where: location TBA (somewhere in Palo Alto)

When: Saturday, February 26, 8:30 am - 12:30 pm

What: Village Harvest is a non-profit organization that works with communities to harvest fruit from local gardens and backyards to donate to food banks across the Bay. It's currently citrus season, so join us for a morning of harvesting and fun!
