09/05 The Health Trust 5k/10k Walk/Run

When:  Monday, September 5, 6:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.

Where: Baylands Park, 999 Caribbean Drive, Sunnyvale 94086

What: It is a race that fundraises for Meals on Wheels, a program of The Health Trust.  The Health Trust is an organization that seeks to ensure optimal health to people of all backgrounds and the money raised helps get meals home-delivered to people in need.  Volunteers are needed for registration and course monitoring.

 

 

09/09 Moonlight Run and Walk

When: Friday, September 9, 5:15 p.m.-9:15 p.m.

Where: Baylands Athletic Center, 1900 Geng Road, Palo Alto 94308
What: The race raises money for the Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund, a fund that benefits local non-profits.  We will be helping out with race-day registration. Volunteers are provided with dinner.

 

 

09/10 September DCM

When: Saturday, September 10, 4:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.

Where: Pioneer Park, Church St & Franklin St, Mountain View 94041

What: We are preparing for Region’s Fall Rally North on October 29th at Six Flags.  Make sure to bring you spirit!  We will be learning cheers (and make some of our own! So bring your lyrical skills too!), There will also be Key Club spirit items sold by other schools.

 

 

09/10-09/11 Mountain View Art and Wine Festival

When: Saturday, September 10, 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., 1:00 pm.-4:00p.m.

Sunday, September 11,10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., 1:00 pm.-4:00 p.m.

Where: Mountain View Downtown, corner of California and Castro Street

What:  We will be selling corn on the cob, portabella mushroom, polish chicken sausage sandwiches and cold drinks at the Mountain View Kiwanis Club booth both days.  For those of you who want to have your community service hours recorded by Key Club, your international dues($13) will be paid by the Kiwanis club this year if you sign up for at least one shift.

 

 

09/17 PAMP Moon Festival

When: Saturday, September 17, 2:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m.

Where: Mitchell Park Bowl, 600 East Meadow Drive

What:

2-3 PM: Set up
3-5 PM: Help children's tent activity coordinators by helping the kids with the various activities such as calligraphy, lantern-making, etc.
5-6:30 PM: Held hand out donated mooncakes, tea, or other donated snacks
Help the entertainment committee with organizing the performing children and helping to get kids onstage and offstage
6:30-7:30 PM: Clean up
