4/3-5 District Convention

Where: Anaheim Convention Center

When: April 3rd-5th

What: District Convention is a congregation of Key Clubbers from all over our District of California, Nevada and Hawaii (otherwise known as Cali-Nev-Ha or CNH). Spirit Battles Workshops and the famed Governor's Ball are all great ways to spend a weekend learning about Key Club and making new friends!


4/4 Kiwanis One Day

Where: Palo Alto Duck Pond: 2775 Embarcadero Road, Palo Alto 94303

When: April 4th, 2009: 9AM-12noon

What: Key Club, Circle K and the Kiwanis unite to do one service project at the Palo Alto Duck Pond; we will be refurbishing and cleaning up the duck pond. Come meet our fellow Palo Alto Kiwanians as well!


4/4 YMCA Healthy Kids Day/Easter Party

Where: Hoover Elementary: 45 E. Charleston Road, Palo Alto, 94306

When: April 4th, 2009: 9:30AM-2:00PM

What: Healthy Kids Day will promote healthy lifestyles for little children, and why not add a little Easter festivity. We will be helping set up, clean up and overall helping little kids with booths, games and serving food. Lunch provided!


4/11 Running of the Bulls

Where: Henry M. Gunn High School Track (otherwise known as "Hal Daner" Track

When: April 11th, 2009: 7AM-12noon

What: Running of the Bulls is part of the Palo Alto Grand Prix, a series of races within Palo Alto. We will helping with setup and serving food while helping out with registration and the food table. Running of the Bulls is a fundraiser for Crohn's and Colitis Foundation and Project Active. Come cheer on the runners too!


4/18 Al Julian Games

Where: Cesar Chavez Academy: 2450 Ralmar Avenue, East Palo Alto, CA 94303

When: April 18th, 2009: 8:30AM-12:00PM and/or 11:30AM-3:00PM

What: Help our Kiwanis run the Al Julian Track and Field meet for children ages 5-14. The track meet strives to promote hatlhy lifestyles and sportsmanship while providing a quality, recreation and school program where children have fun and are introduced to physical fitness.


4/25 "Fiesta" Preschool Carnival

Where: Palo Alto Friends Nursery School: 957 Colorado Avenue, Palo Alto 94303

When: April 25th, 2009: 10:30AM-2:30PM

What: Help out the Palo Alto Friends Nursery School by helping preschoolers make crafts, play games and also by serving food. We will also be assisting with setting up and cleaning up. Preschoolers are also absurdly cute. Lunch provided!
